Pictures are coming back to this blog

I hope the static crunch breaking the recent radio silence did not startle you.

There is no reason behind this posting except to share my excitement whilst waiting for the pick-up slip for our new camera to arrive in the mail. The camera itself lies, according to the post tracking system, in wait at our local post office, just across the road from our home. In an analog age, the postal workers may just have given us a shout to come and pick it up. In an analog age, however, we wouldn't have gotten a D60.

When I've picked it up I'll head out in whatever weather it is, take some pictures in our lovely hood and post pictoral evidence of our purchase :)
